Sorry to Trevor Cook on this one, because this Captcha comes from his blog, but it sort of says it all about Captcha’s for me 
Yep, Captcha’s are yuck…particularly to vision impared bloggers and even people like me with 20/20 vision who hate them as well.

My vision isnt good enough to use captchas with ease. I hate them.
