In the eyes of the blogosphere, The Blog Herald and The Blogging Times are competitors. The reason is because both are threading almost the same course?ɬ¢?¢‚Äö¬¨?¢‚Ǩ?ì delivering news of what's happening in the blogosphere. People have branded the two as such. People who are close to me, however, that the word competition does not exisit in my vocabulary.

I founded The Blogging Times last April because blogging gives me the opportunity to work once again in a "news and publishing" environment while working on its design and technical side (though I do not know anything about this four months ago... and I'm still learning).

Good observations, Duncan.

I'm biased too. But I dont see a Blogging News War anywhere. If you spend half your time looking at your competition you won't get anywhere.

Yeah TBH is a touch tabloidish. I noticed that too.
Stories is anything worth breaking these days?

Oh, besides the YOuTube riots and Paris HIlton being evicted from YouTube.

Shhhhh. Don't tell anyone.

Good insight Duncan,

I'm biased because I too have a column (The Blog Herald), so no doubt Matt will take this onboard.

Geez, that graph shows a huge head start for TBH - but The Blogging Times is getting up there.

Interesting times.
