Take note that if you’ve used any of the older unlock tools (I had used iUnlock) and not anySIM, this process can (and probably will) kill the phone and SMS functionality on your iPhone. You can (probably) undo the damage by reverting to the 1.0.2 firmware, but you’ll have wasted a few hours.

I need to get around to upgrading mine from 1.0.2 shortly.

In terms of a bluetooth solution… it’s simple, just get a BlueAnt SuperTooth Lite (which ironically, or perhaps bafflingly is the upgraded (better) model to the older SuperTooth II). Regardless, the supertooth light works a TREAT with the iPhone. I previously had the old Supertooth II for my Razr and it did work (kinda, not really) with the iPhone, but I repurposed the ST-II to a family member and grabbed the ST-Lite (about $110) and it’s iPhone-a-rific all the way. Lasts 4-5 weeks on a single charge too.
